If a student is dropped from a class before the drop with W deadline, is it an automatic fail, or is it considered a withdrawal? unfortunately out of the 5 classes I am taking I was dropped from one. The drop with W date is apr22. I checked my schedule, and for my class it says withdrawal and the date I was dropped.
You college’s catalogue would be the place to check this, but usually if it is a faculty-initiated withdrawal it is a “W.”
