Ok I pulled a "D" for two semesters in math. I have a B- this semester and will strive for a B+ next semester. The final grade adds up to about a "B" but I would like to know if this will haunt me during my application process.

I love to write and will more than likely have a good essay.
I also had a 176 on my PSAT (sophomore score), I have good EC's so someone please tell me if I have a shot or not(for some reason this feels like therapy).

I'm freaked out because I read this story about how a guy who was applying to Amherst didn't get in because he had a "B-" for two semesters in his math class.
