Dropping a class after being admitted

I applied for CSULB for Chemical Engineering for the Spring 2014 semester and got accepted (I believe provisionally).

My problem is that currently I'm taking a physics class that I want to drop. I currently have a C, but my problem lies with the fact that I have been really busy to keep up in the class alongside my Calculus and Gen Chem class. Also, my teacher is utterly horrible and I have been self-teaching myself up to now and am honestly fed up with it.

I want to drop so I can focus on my two other classes and bring my grades up to an A, and save myself from my GPA dropping a little bit more. I'm wondering if my admission will get rescinded. I have over 85 units and my GPA will stay around a 3.0 so I'm wondering if I would drop the physics class if I can still accept the admissions and not worry about it being rescinded. I need to transfer by spring, but at the same time I don't want to take a C in a class. I know I should call and ask but the final day to drop is this Sunday and the admissions office is closed till Monday.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! :)

What are the policy for CSULB, dropping class before transferring?

You would have to email their office of admissions and notify them that you’ve made the change

check to see if your school lets you take a pass-fail grade
