Hey all,

I'm currently a junior year double major biology and kinesiology undergrad.

I'm having a pretty rough time with my course load right now - three sciences(with three labs) and a GE. Currently, I am taking Mo-bio, the second half of organic chemistry, a kinesiology nutrition class, and a General Education class (pass/fail). I recently received a C- on my kines midterm..I was wondering if I should drop the class with a W. Coming back to an A from a C- seems like it would be close to impossible. If I drop the class with a W though, I would only be taking 12 units, only 8 of which would be graded. That would look like an extremely weak courseload for a junior year student. What are your opinions on whether or not I should drop the class to free up studying time for my two other science courses and to prevent my GPA from taking a potentially big hit?

Furthermore, I am thinking about dropping my kinesiology major, though I will end up with many open spots in my schedule that I will be unable to fill unless I pick up a minor (I was considering a jazz guitar minor). If I decide to keep my double major, I will have to take 3 or even 4 science classes with labs every semester until I graduate - I don't think this will be to my advantage as it will certainly take a toll on my GPA(as it already seemingly has).

This was a long post. I don't know if anyone will read through all of it to answer me, but I could really use some help. Thanks a lot everyone.
