Dropping a class and getting a W prior to transfer

Hey guys,

I was wondering how much of an impact dropping a class and getting a W would do to my chances as a junior transfer to USC.

To give a background about myself:

I currently have a 4.0 GPA (spring grades not included) and will have over 64 units after transfer along with all my GE’s, diversity requirement, one semester of foreign language and pre-reqs completed.

My GE categories 1, 2, 3, 5, diversity, and foreign language have been all completed last semester so I am not taking any other required classes this term.

This will be my first W and on my spring grades.

The class I am debating on dropping is a second semester Spanish course.

USC only recommends one semester of a foreign language class before transferring and I already completed that last term.
