dropping a class in high school

so im in high school an i am enrolled in a gov class at a community college for early college start but the class is at night on wednesdays and it is interfering with my studying for test since i only have limited time after coming home from school to study so i were to drop that one and only class and get a W on my transcript how would that effect my ability to get into a university and p.s. i am going to take that gov class again during school since the profesors from the comunity college will come to our school to teach the subject offering us the ability to get credit for school and the college, also if i drop this class i can fit in one extra class into my schedule and have more college credits while in high school

@-) That was all one sentence…

Yeah, it’s fine to drop it. You can explain the dropped class in the Additional Information section of the Common App if you want.

so it wouldnt have any affect on my ability to get into a university as long as my gpa is fine right.

@kman5000 Most likely not. The top universites will still be a stretch (as they are for everyone), and the normal ones shouldn’t care. Everything will generally be the same.

Do what you want.
