If I drop a class now, the grade I will receive will be WP(With Pass). How will this affect my GPA and how will the Admission Committee view it if I want to Transfer to another college.
((The reason I want to drop this particular class is that I honestly hate that class and I don't feel like I am learning or gaining anything from going there,))
Anybody any suggestions?

Nothing...
W mark in your freshman year ain't that big a deal.

so then,,won't it be taken into consideration during my gpa calculation??

I believe you should stay in that class. Its better you make an effort even though you don’t like the class, than to drop of class and regret it in the future. I myself dropped out of one class last year in which I really hated the teacher, and now I regret it completely. It’s a great opportunity for life, so take a shot and don’t drop the class.

Why not ask an academic advisor or counselor at your school? They will be able to evaluate your situation better than anyone here, and give better-informed advice.

Only drop a class if you're failing or have no chance of passing the course.

yea... it is probably not a good idea to withdraw from that class. A 'W' or two on your transcript will not hurt you at all, at least if it's not in your major.

Only withdraw if you have no hope of pulling a C.
