Dropping a Class

<p>I have a tough schedule and I'm thinking about dropping one of my 6 AP classes. It's been pretty tough because my school runs on an alternating schedule (half classes one day, half the other) and one of those days I have 4 work-intensive AP classes. </p>

<p>I understand that I'd have to report this to the admissions committee.</p>

<p>How would this affect their perception of my application?</p>

<p>How significant of an impact would this make?</p>

<p>I dont know how serious an applicant you are but if you are do not drop a class. Honestly the admissions committee won’t see your 2nd term grades anyway til after the decision and there are people here who go down more than a full point in their GPA and get nothing more than a warning letter after they have gotten in. Stay in the class if you think you might get in…if not drop the class and enjoy 2nd semester senior year.</p>
