I got just got into UF and was wondering about dropping my AP Calc AB class. It sounds bad but the teacher isn't very good, and most of the class has a C or lower for their grade. I am taking DE trig and will graduate with 6 math credits if I drop calc. So.... What's the worst that can happen if I do drop calc???

It may raise a red flag with UF. They admitted you using the current senior year schedule and are counting on you to complete that successfully.

What I would do is call the Admissions office and ask them if it would be a problem.

The same thing is happening to me, sorta. Except, i dropped my AP Calc AB class right at the end of the 1st semester/start of the 2nd which was before i got accepted to UF. I’m now taking college algebra (i know, a huge step down, but thats where a 610 gets you placed i guess). I’m hoping they won’t rescind my admittance. But i also have an A in every class now
