Dropping a class

Ok, so I dislike my English lit class because the environment just does not suit me well. It's day three for school and I just want to drop it because it's an elective, and I'd rather substitute it for a general ed requirement. However, I have a presentation tomorrow with a partner. It's a short presentation that's five minutes, but the thing is is that my class that i'm substitute it for is at the same time as this english class. Should I just drop it? I feel kind of bad that I will not show up to class and my partner ends up doing it alone, but it's just a description of a random author we chose to present. I also don't want to wait because the class i'm trying to get in only has one spot open. It's just so hard for me to decide over something that's not even a big deal lol. Should I drop engl and add the other OR should I just go to class and possibly have the other class fill up. Wow, this question is dumber than I thought! I guess i'm asking: WHAT WOULD YOU DO? haha Thanks, guys.

If it’s a small presentation then I wouldn’t care about leaving my partner hanging. Just drop it and add the other.

I think you should just add the other class first, then see how the presentation turns out tmr and then rethink about dropping it later. Just take the safety way. You don’t want to end up regretting taking an even more boring gen ed class than the current American Lit :)

You guys are awesome for the quick responses. I’m just going to drop it and suck it* up! Thanks haha

HAHAHAHAHA “I wouldn’t care about leaving my partner hanging.” LOL, I love this website. but in all seriousness just sign up for the course and go give the presentation.

I’d go to the new class…you don’t want to miss more of the new class and be even more behind. Yes it sucks you’re ditching your partner, but I doubt something like this will make much of an impact. Just know it’ll be awkward if you decide to go back.
