Do you think dropping from AP Calculus AB to Calculus Honors would make much of a difference in the colleges decision? Im questioning whether i should do this, some of my colleges already have my app saying im in AP calc, but i wanna drop and i know my GC would have to send a letter to them.

Do you think this will hurt me?

BTW, the colleges that have these grades arent really reach/match schools. They are more on the safe side. Except for UMD.

Otherwise, I have a very strong application. Im also in 5 other AP's this year, i just had to get rid of calc because it was making me lose my mind.

It won't matter. My son was considering going in the opposite direction in October. His regular calc teacher is terrible, and S wanted to switch into AP. He mentioned this on one of his college visits (to an admissions person) and the person said it wouldn't be important. Calculus is calculus, and it wouldn't add anything significant for it to be AP. (he also has other APs). So-I doubt it would hurt you with all your other APs if you dropped to honors calculus.

well im more worried about the fact that they know i dropped it

I don't think it will matter. Your schedule is strong enough and you said these are safe/match schools anyway. Won't matter.

hmm well that relieves sum pressure, any other thoughts?
