I recently dropped my AP Calculus AB class because I got a D for the first semester of my senior year. In senior year we have this thing called “Mid-year reports” which my school sends out our first semester grades to our colleges. I applied to Virginia Tech, and was wondering if it was better to drop my class and receive a “WP (Withdrawal while Passing” or have taken the “D” on my mid year report?
neither is good, but a WP may be the lesser of two evils. the ideal situation is to bring the grade up so your final grade is an A or B.
