Dropping a course - going below Ft

I am trying to drop one of my courses- solar is not letting me saying i will be below full time. So is there no way for me to drop? I have to basically take an F in the course?

Don’t drop it because its not worth it!
p/nc it!

if you pass it you get the credits, but if you fail nothing happens; you wont get the credits and the grade is not figured into your gpa.

I highly recommend to NOT P/NC it. If you plan on applying to graduate or medical school, they will consider a P to be equivalent to that of a D, and it shows that you went all the way in the course instead of just withdrawing early. File for an underload petition instead if you want to drop it.

I am a transfer and I have tons of Ws on my transcripts from community college and from UCLA… I have no NCs I figure the difference between 19 Ws and 20 is probably irrelevent

We’re past the drop date. You could still P/NC – although inno’s right, it really depends on the course and where it fits in your overall academic picture. A “P” is infinitely better than an “F,” no matter what happens.

Please, please, please go see an academic advisor in the library before doing anything.
