Hey all. I'm seriously considering dropping my physics and math class. At this point I have Es in both of them, and I just can't concentrate on my work. Not only do I feel so far behind that I can't catch up, but I hate the subjects so much that I have absolutely no motivation to suck it up and try. If I drop a class at this point, colleges won't see the grades I have in them. But is dropping down to a lower-level math/physics class mid-year a cause for instant rejection at top tier schools?

I'm not sure.. I know a lot of my friends are dropping Physics at semester but I wouldn't recommend it...
You have to think if admission officers would be more upset by dropping a class or failing a class...
I really don't know...
