Im a high school senior planning on dropping AP Psychology B because in my school it counts as Sociology and I have passed sociology in a community college. And in my UC application I put I was "planning" to take it. Will dropping the second part of a class have some negative consequences?

another poster asked a similar question several threads down

If you've already taken it at a community college, then why not just take it again? If anything, the class should be a sinch for you.

I don't see any reason for why you would drop it, so I doubt the UC admissions officers would see any reason for why you would drop it, which means they would probably rescind any admission you had the chance of getting.

Don't drop the class; just take it, even if it bores you to death and feels like review of Algebra 1. In 6 months, hopefully you'll be in as stimulating an intellectual environment as UCLA.
