Will dropping AB Calculus AP get my admission to UCSD rescinded?

I will still have two other AP courses and will meet the minimum 3.0 weighted gpa and no D/F provision without this course. I spoke with the admissions counselors at the UCSD admissions office and they said that it's better to drop a course than get a D, but that they cannot guarantee anything. I called multiple times and spoke to different counselors and some of them said it'd be okay because Calc AP is above the a-g required courses, but I don't want to take any chances.

Help? Do you guys know anyone who was rescinded for dropping a class?

Can you get their response in writing, as in a response to an email? My D dropped an AP at semester, notified the school she planned to attend, and saved their email response that dropping this class would not change her admissions status. Just say, "I'm emailing you to follow up on a telephone conversation last week. I would like to drop AB Calc, and have been advised by your office that this will not affect my acceptance at UCSD. Please confirm this decision by return email. Thanks very much. I am so looking forward to attending UCSD in the fall." Something like that but in your own words.

And try and relax and enjoy spring!
