I recently dropped a second semester elective (creative writing) for an independent study where I work closely with my dean and my school’s alumni on video projects throughout the school as well as self teach more technical aspects of filmmaking - my major is in film so I thought it could help me get ahead. Should I notify my colleges about this change, or is it not drastic enough since I’m dropping a non-academic elective for a new non-academic elective.
You should notify the school of any change in classes. It probably won’t impact anything but you are supposed to let them know.
ok that makes sense. Do you think I can just make a word document and upload it to my portals?
I am not sure about that but you should be able to send a quick note via the portal or an e-mail. There probably are instructions on the portals about how to send updates.
