Dropping Ap Chem. for ap enviromental

hey all

i am currently taking 4 aps: AP Chemistry, Ap Poly Sci, Ap Calculus BC and Ap English. I was debating whether or not to drop ap chemistry and take ap enviromental instead, as it is a easier course than ap chemistry and im not sure if i can handle the workload

my guidance however ( i am skeptical about what she told me) said that colleges look down on ap enviromental. I was wondering if taking enviromental instead of ap chemistry would affect my chances of getting into college.

poly sci?

goddamn i thot these AP audits were workin..

Definitely take AP Chem. Sure it's harder but it looks better and you'll be better prepared.

@ yanksdolphins, the prob is i think i will do bad in AP CHEM so i think its safer to go to AP ES?

A B in Chemistry looks better than an A in ES. And it isn't THAT hard, it just requires some thinking.

I completely agree with YanksDolphins.

as long as you spend some time on chem it's not difficult as all. take ap chem for sure...your guidance counselor is right, ap es is looked down upon as an easy course.

Almost all the colleges I am interested in do not give credit for both AP Chem
and AP Env. Sci
......I did AP Chem at school and believe that the labs are worth doing for
the fun of it...the Envi. Sci looks straightforward compared to Chemistry
which had some thinking ...:)
