Dropping AP Physics for AP Env. Science? bad? o_O

No way in hell am I doing Physics this year. I actually don't even think I'm allowed, I was probably put in the class by mistake.

Also, it's my senior year. How bad would it look if I dropped physics for AP env science?
It's still an AP science class..

Yes it would depend on your intended major. Physics is very important in all engineering majors and many other science majors. It would also depend on what APs you have already completed.

I want to go to Business school

I’ve taken AP BIO and AP CHEM

If it makes you fell any better, I also am not taking physics and taking AP Enviro instead. I figured, if it turns out to be a bad decision later down the road, at least I’m happy now!

Physics, Chem, and Bio generally make up the core trio that most science majors take before entering college. If you’re a business major, I don’t think it would make that much of an impact. However, you may be want to look into admissions, as some schools don’t want you to take an “easier” science in place of a core science.

I’m taking college level physics at my school and AP Environmental Science too, since college level physics doesn’t have a lab. I’d never take the AP course and there’s currently a wait list to drop out of AP at my school. It’s pretty bad.

So wait, as a prospective Business major, what do you guys think of my decision?

Dude, you’re into business. I don’t think that as a business major you’re going to be mixing potions and stuff in a lab. I think you’re decision is perfectly fine. I mean, you’re still taking science and it’s an AP class.
