I am currently taking computer Science AP and it is administered online. I am going to drop the course because the course isn't going anywhere. I am on a trimester system and we haven't gotten homework since the middle of second term. I was just wondering if the dropping of an AP course will prompt Princeton to rescind my offer?

At face value, dropping an AP is certainly not a good thing—but I’m sure they’ll understand if you notify the admission office why you’re doing this.

That said, is there no way you could self-study and try the AP exam anyway?

thanks for the reply.
The computer science class is just in a state of stasis, nothing is happening no instructions are given. I received a 99 percent first term and 96 second term so I have no worries that it’ll drop my GPA considerably, but to take the course personally is pointless.
