I'm going to drop my general chemistry class, i do not need this class to transfer. My lab/ physical and biological sciences requirements have already been completed. But will my admissions be rescinded if i do end up dropping the class? i have only been admitted into UCR so far, but i have an ok chance at uci/ucd, so if anyone has thoughts on this let me know please, thanks.

As far as I know this should not effect anything at all.
As long as you have all of your requirements fulfilled and it doesn’t mess with your IGETC or assist.org classes and you will still have 60+ units after dropping it you should be just fine.

Hmm just looked at my UCR app and it says “Complete all courses listed on your application as in progress and/or planned with “C” grades or better.” i’m just going to call them tomorrow to confirm. ><

i called UCR,UCI, and UCD today. UCR is goign to call me back, UCI said it shouldn’t be a problem, i just have to send them a message through the message center. UCD said that i have to wait till they post their decisions, then send them a message or something telling them what i’m doing then they will let me know.

So how did it go dude? Cause I am planning to drop a class as well and on my APP it says all classes must be completed.
