<p>Is it okay if I drop orchestra and AP Environmental Science 2nd semester as a senior? I am taking those classes and I find them very useless and not worth my time. If I do end up dropping them, will it severely affect my chances in getting into UCs or other private colleges? Or will it get me rescinded? </p>
<p>You should notify any colleges you’ve applied to or been admitted to of the change in status of your second semester courses, especially if you’ve indicated in any way that they think you’ll be taking those courses second semester. Will it severely impact your getting admitted - probably not, but you never know. But if a school gets your final transcript and finds out the courses you listed on your application don’t match with what the record shows, it would be grounds to rescind you. Not saying they would, but they’d be within their rights.</p>
