Dropping Fourth Year of Language?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I've taken Chinese since Freshman Year, and now I am a rising senior.
However, I decided to drop my fourth year of Chinese to take AP Comparative Government.
My Senior Year looks like this so far:
English 12 (which is apparently a AP Lit Course)
AP Calc I
AP US Gov
AP Comp Gov
AP Envi Sci
Orchestra
Possibly AP Euro Second Semester</p>

<p>My main question is: Will it hurt me to drop that fourth year of Chinese to take AP Comparative Government?</p>

<p>Not really, but to be honest I don’t think taking Comp. Gov would do anything for you either.</p>

<p>Are you applying to any schools that recommend 4 yrs of FL? If not, no problem, take what you want. If so, you might want to reconsider as AP Comp Govt is not a particularly strong AP.</p>
