Dropping math class senior year?

I’ve already gotten into 5 schools and I’m waiting on a couple more, but I’m not sure if this is allowed or if it would look bad to drop math class next semester. Freshman year I took regular algebra and got a D, and I got a C in geometry sophomore year. Last year I got dropped down to the lower level math and got an A, and this year I’m in the lower level math again and I have a B. I have a B but I am struggling a lot. I recently got a 10% on a math quiz because my teacher gives no partial credit and frankly I just don’t learn the best way from her. I’m afraid that it will go down to a C or worse before the end of the year. Thoughts?

If you change your senior year courses to be different from what you reported on your college applications, your admission offers may be rescinded. You should contact the colleges that admitted you to find out if the particular change you want to make will cause your admission offer to be rescinded.

what math class is it

You’re better off with a C in lower track math, than dropping it and risking being rescinded AND having to take more math college classes.

Stick with this math class. A B grade is not bad by any means! Since you say you are struggling, then make an appointment to meet with your teacher to get extra help figuring out where you are stuck. Ask for a reference for a tutor so that you can get the help you need to stay on track for the rest of the year.
