This semester I took these courses:

AP Calc A/B, AP Spanish, AP Art History, H Economics, AP Lit, and Physics (at school)
I received pretty good grades from these classes.

Online I took AP Computer Science A, however, I had a hard time completing the course due to lack of online access, so I fell behind and now I've decided to drop it. It will not appear on my mid-term report.

I got accepted early decision to my top-choice, will I get in trouble for dropping this one online course? I listed it in the common app.

Send an email to the admissions office to inform them that you’ve dropped the course. I think that it will be okay because (1) you were already accepted ED, which indicates that they want you; (2) it’s an online course; and (3) your senior-year schedule is still rigorous.

how would I format the message?

If they’ve told you who your admissions officer is, address it directly to that person. If not:

Subject line: Updated Senior-Year Course Schedule

To Whom It May Concern:

I was recently accepted as an early decision applicant. On my application, I indicated that one of my senior-year courses was AP Computer Science A, which was an online course. However, I have had to drop this course because a lack of internet access made it difficult to keep up with the work. I am still enrolled in all of the other senior-year courses that I listed on my application. Will this affect the status of my application?

[insert your applicant info/ID/etc here]

I think it depends on what college it is, I wouldnt take the risk, but that’s me

I said that I could not complete the coursework due to lack of online access time, and I asked if it would present a problem for me. I hope they will understand…

wait, so you guys think I will get rescinded for dropping this online class?

No, I don’t think you’ll get rescinded. I don’t think it changes your senior-year rigor. It clearly doesn’t change your senior-year GPA.

I think you’re going to get an email that says something along the lines of “That’s fine, welcome to College X!”

People get Cs their final semester and still don’t get rescinded.
