dropping out of a magnet program?

hey, guys! so i've got a bit of a problem and i thought i'd ask you all for advice.

so i'm currently a sophomore at a business magnet program at my high school (kind of like a school within a school.) i've got decent grades (huge upward trend) and last marking period i got straight A's (which, considering my school awards 2-3 A's per class of 25, is a huge deal at my high school.) but anyway, after taking 2 years of business courses i've come to the realization that business is definitely not for me. i don't know exactly what i'm going to go for in life, but i think i'll take more science courses (i'm looking to take 2 in school and self-study 3 next year, although one of them doesn't have an AP test.)

so anyway, i want to drop out of the magnet program since i know that i won't be doing anything business-related as a college major or later. i'm leaning toward a career in science and i'd really like my college application to reflect that. my main question is, will colleges look down on me for dropping out, even though i've got good grades and will be taking even more challenging courses the year after i dropped out? (no AP's sophomore year b/c the magnet school doesn't allow it to 5 AP's junior year) would you guys recommend dropping out? just wanted opinions!

sorry this was super-long, thanks in advance for all your input!

You are leaving the program for an excellent reason: to pursue courses that fit your interests better. No one can possibly object to that. Depending on how your courses are recorded on your transcript, there is every chance that no one will ever even know that you were in that program to begin with.

Don’t worry about this one at all.
