dropping senior grades

Anyone know what the CMU policy is for retracting admissions? Is a 3.3 acceptable if I was accepted as a 3.6?

Any C's? If not, you're fine.

wow....your worrying about a 3.3, while i have a 2.3

Haha did you get into CMU? If you did, I would seriously start to worry about an admission retraction.

I'd say that anything below 3.0 is dangerous. Above that, you're not in serious danger, but do try not to let them slip any more.

I have 2 Cs for the most recent report (one is literally a 79.99), but I have a 3.14 unweighted still 3.71 weighted. (my school doesn't do - +, so that 79 is a 2.0/3.0)

still worried though.

If you can raise the 79.99, that would be great, just to be safe.

yeah, it should come to a B after the next homework grade (or whatever) is entered in. I think he just did it to bug me into working more...

its ap compsci ab btw, the other c is in ap physics c

same teacher, actually.

do CMU get to see our 3rd quarter grades and final senior year grades?

They only care about final grades. No C's should be on that in order to be safe and likewise it should be around a 3.0+

!!Thats greats news. I thought they saw your second semester alone. I got admitted on a 2.9 (tough school) for first semester, my year end gpa will only drop to about 2.7. So hopefully when they look at your senior year grades, they only compare it to what you got first semester.

i got to make sure that i get no C's as my final grade.. damn calculus!

hehe and i was worried about my Bs :P
