Has anyone ever offered you drugs? Friends?
I believe I was in merely in 7th grade when I was offered, evidently I said no.
Frankly, many teenagers has tried drugs once.

Why do I even bother to ask about ''drugs'' in CC. lol

Anyone here been offered? Your response? And if yes, did you like enjoy it?

By the way, drugs increase SAT Scores, only on the writing portion though.

80% of kids at my school smoke weed regularly, and it's actually an overachieving school. At first this led me to believe that smoking weed was normal around high schools everywhere, then I realized it was just because I live in NorCal.

There's also a large amount of ecstasy (referred to as "thizz" around my area due to the local Hyphy movement) being used at my school. This is the big problem IMO as it can supposedly rot holes into your brain, although there are some kids who claim that pure MDMA (active ingredient in ecstasy for those who don't know) is completely harmless. I don't know if I believe that though...

A few of my friends have tried it, but I've never been offered, and I've gone to two different large public high-schools. I guess I am "sheltered", but I think it's better attributed to the sort of people I hang around.

Just because nobody has ever come up to you with a smoking joint and said, "Do you wanna take a hit?" doesn't mean you haven't been offered. If there are a couple of guys that you know smoke and ask you if you wanna hang out, or even just go to a different side of a party or take a walk away from the bonfire for a couple of minutes are probably asking if you wanna smoke. You probably have been asked before, you just didn't know it.

There is a small ecstasy scene here, but you won't know it if you don't look for it. I haven't done it, but, side note coming, this girl said that if you have sex on x it will be so amazing that sex without is BORING. Coming from a big-ol-skank that loves to "have a good time" ;)

I've never been offered, but my school is full of stoners. I go to a technology magnet that is paired with an F ghetto school (to balance racially). I saw this one guy snorting cocaine in the bathroom once. I also see them congregate at a church across the street and smoke marijuana all day. I also work at a pharmacy, so I see loads of medicaid insured painkilliner addicted freeloaders every day. I really don't have an interest in doing any drugs, and I think they should enforce the laws more harshly... just my opinion though...

Ironically, probably the smartest guy at my school is the biggest pothead. He is actually a dealer, yet he still managed to get a 2380 on his SATs and will most likely go to Brown.

Yeah, I haven't been offered any directly but if I wanted to do drugs I would know where to get them. I go to a huge public school but seriously like it's not the cool thing to do at my school. We just drink.

I've seen kids do drug deals (in front of teachers, who just ignore it), but nobody's ever offered me any, and I wouldn't take any even if it was given to me.

I've been offered joints and drinks, but never drugs. Obviously I declined.

However, I know (and hang out with) a few kids who smoke. Their not like super potheads or anything, and they don't brag about it. Their kind of like "mature smokers", the kind of adults you see smoking outside of a building or something.

On another note, last year, a junior was caught with possession of cocaine. He had a full scholarship for swimming (not Ivy, but it was up there), too.

At my school, probably close to a majority of students do drugs. Some are brazen enough to do them in school - even in class. One legendary student snorted a line of cocaine during class (the substitute teacher didn't notice). It was an honors class, if you were wondering. Ultimately he ended up going to jail for having drugs and guns in his car (parked on campus). Genius. Uh, the moral, I guess, is don't be an idiot.

I don't believe that marijuana is a true "drug" at least when you compare it to cocaine, meth, etc. However, I have been offered and though I refuse to say whether or not I did try it, if I did, then it was very relaxing and calming.

"I experimented with marijuana a time or two, and didn't like it. I didn't inhale and I didn't try it again."
