Too funny. My DS (senior) is busily waffling about colleges. My DD (junior), on the other hand, just got back her ACT scores a few minutes ago. She got a 33 comp. (and has a great GPA). Her first text was “Alabama, here I come!”. Guess I’d better make sure she goes to that DC area reception in a couple of weeks. She’s never even been on the campus…She just knows she wants to be away from home (unlike DS) and is “Miss Frugal”. Guess we’ll be saying Roll Tide one way or another!

Just not in the UA library… There is a photo posted of a sign on the library door requesting students refrain from yelling “Roll Tide!” within the building. Too funny.

My three year old grandson has been trained by me to yell “Roll Tide!” whenever he sees the fancy curlicue ‘A’.
He has charmed many an Alabama fan in Knoxville.

Sending a welcoming “ROLL TIDE!” to VAmomof4’s D.

Congrats to your D on the great score! Hope your S decides on Bama too. Roll Tide!!

NRDMom, you need to teach him to yell Roll Tide whenever he sees anything orange. That ought to keep him busy.

^^ He does! http://■■■■■■■.com/r/nr0r40/8

He’s adorable!

I frequently comment to my friends what a wise and insightful poster Cuttlefish is…

vamomof4 — where is the DC area reception you mentioned and date? We are near F’burg

NRDMOM: You are too kind and your grandson is soooo cute! You have taught him well. :)

mr68gto: Maybe this is the info you need. http://gobama.ua.edu/recruiters/michellezumpano/
She is the DC representative for UA.

The lady from VA didn’t have anything listed on her profile page but you could contact her.

mr68gto - The reception is Tuesday 3/18 at 7:00 at the Westin Tysons Corner in Falls Church, VA. The phone number listed to call is 205-348-2914. That would be a bit of haul from F’burg. Maybe they’ll have another one closer?

Thanks. I’ll call and check it out.
