<p>As a US citizen abroad, you will be considered a domestic applicant for financial aid purposes. Your school records may be evaluated by someone in the international admissions office. You need to ask each place how they will handle it.</p>
<p>Financial Aid varies wildly from one institution to another. If you need significant aid, go ask about this in the Financial Aid Forum. Start a new thread there, and state up front that you are a US citizen abroad, how much your famil can pay, your exam scores, and your approximate GPA equivalent. An academic safety that you can’t afford to attend is no safety at all.</p>
