Hey everyone:
I was admitted early response to LSA (wanted to go premed) but now I want to apply to the CoE (biomedical). Is this possible?

Thanks

Don't think so...I tried it, they said CoE was already full or something. I would give them a call and see, or at least try and register for Engin 100 or 101 when you do orientation...those are really the only two Engineering classes.

If they say no, here's what to do:

Take English 125 or whatever the freshman writing requirement is first semester, along with the engineering transfer pre-reqs. Then try and take Engin 101 winter semester (you'll have to go to North Campus and get an override) as well as any other transfer pre-reqs you need. Then, you should be able to fill out transfer paper work winter semester, so you are officially in CoE Fall of your sophomore year (and you'll be at the same position as everyone else, not at all behind in classes.) For transfer pre-reqs, search "cross campus transfer" on the CoE admissions site.

Do you think Biomedical engineering would be better for me in terms of getting into medical school or is LSA a safer bet?
