Dual Credit and College GPA

So I know this is early to think about this, but I've been curious about this. I am a straight A student, take 5 AP classes along with some other classes and science electives, etc, and have a pretty good high school gpa. I decided to take the dual credit courses offered at our school this year, and ended up being incredibly overextended when combined with my extacurriculars and while going through a tumultuous time, ending up with three C's and a B (all in various social studies classes) in my college classes while maintaining A's in my high school courses. While I've since learned my lesson, I'm still stuck with those grades, and have now been wondering how they would affect my college and grad-school plans. I've been told that none of the grades will affect my college gpa, but many med schools will take the cumulative gpa of all the college courses you've ever taken, even while still in high school. If I were to maintain good grades (aka A's), will those four classes kill my gpa and my chances of getting into a decent med school, even if my "real" college gpa would be good?

They will count sorry bud. You are receiving college credit for them so your going to have them on your records. Can you give us the classes in your schedule? If you were obliviously overloaded then you may want to mention that when applying to well basically anything really. This will not shed well on your school considering one of its straight A Advanced Placement students performed in an average manner at college.
