How hard is it to go for a dual degree from the college of engineering and ross school of business? Anyone have any experience with this? Can it be done in four years?

Very rare. Definitely not possible in 4 years. You could try it though - but more likely than not it’ll be hard and take at least 5 years.

If you’re interested in engineering and business, I would strongly consider getting a BSE, get an engineering job out of college and go back to Ross for a MBA and pass up the BBA. The MBA will be much more valuable to you than a BBA and it will take at least 5 years the MBA will be a much better investment.

Well, 45 credits are Ross classes, which is ontop of the 128 required for Engineering. So you would need 173 credits… If you can do that in 4 years (maybe you’re coming in with a bunch) then I guess you can.

I’ve been thinking of doing some business too, but I’ll probably just get a masters in CS with EGL so I get some business background, and maybe get an MBA later. You can get an MBA without a BBA, right?

I would recommend going for the BSE -> MBA route. BBA and BSE is way too much.

I highly recommend just completing one bachelor’s degree. If you really want a dual-degree, you will receive a better ROI at the master’s level (i.e., MBA/MEng).
