dual degree posssible?

Hi, i am enrolling at the university of michigan next year.

I was accepted to the college of engineering and was wondering what classes would i have to take there? current students and their schedules would be much appreciated

i am interested in double majoring with business and a foreign language elective. Is this possible?

A double major with Business and LSA requires 150 hours.

lets say i have about 20+ ap credits. if i go to engineering i would only have calc + computer science. And, if i go to LSA i would have AP euro, US, LIT, statistics

Would i be able to use these to fulfill my LSA requirements?
and instead take 130 credits? which seems more reasonable?

Usually people don't dual enroll in Engineering and Business. A decent amount of people do LSA and engineering, and maybe some have tried Engineering and Business, but I don't think there's enough overlap between Engineering and Business to make it that feasible. I think your two best options would either be to get a dual degree in engineering and Econ from LSA, or strictly do engineering and then get an MBA in business. There should be something on the Engineering bulletin about overlap in requirements if you're doing a dual degree. In either case, you'd be allowed to take language classes in LSA as an elective, though you'll probably be limited in how much you can do because of other requirements.

Would it harmful to one's GPA to aim for a dual degree in things like English and Philosophy, or is there significant overlap? If there is a place where I can find this information on my own, you can just direct me to it, please.

Check the Bulletin for concentration requirements:
