I've externally transferred into Penn. Is it possible for me to pursue a dual degree or is that not allowed for transfer students?

I think you can if you’re able to complete the credits. You might not be able to do Wharton though unless you actually transferred into Wharton.

i know internal transfer (into wharton) isn’t available to transfer students

but perhaps dual degree doesn’t fall under the same rules, especially if you’re looking to dual with something other than wharton

So, I found out that transfers can do a dual degree with any of the schools, but they must apply at the end of their sophomore year. I’m really interested in doing this. Does anyone know what the workload for a dual degree entails? Are you expected to take 6 classes or 7 classes a semester? And are you allowed to do summer terms?

You can take summer classes but you should be able to finish with a combination of 6 and 7 classes a semester

Great! Thanks for the info!
