Hi, I’m going to major in Psychology but I want to also major in Business. For this Psychology, a minor is required.

I was wondering:

  1. If it’s possible to double major freshman year. If so, do I tell them at orientation? If not, what are the requirements? I read on a forum that you had to have 30 hours first but I’m not sure on that.
  2. Can my extra major replace my minor

If Business isn’t your first major you can’t double major in Business (unless BHP, but in this case you aren’t BHP either). So no, you can’t double major in Psych and Business, but you can go into the Business Foundations Minor.
