Dual Degrees

I got into Penn engineering and I was wondering how difficult/accessible Wharton is in terms of dual degrees. For example, is it relatively easy (procedurally) to request an add-on degree in business, or would I have to go through another application process (with the possibility of being denied)??

I know that Penn is open with the whole “one school” concept. I understand that I can always internally take classes from Wharton, but what does it take to get an official degree from Wharton in addition to the one I would be getting from engineering? I have NOT been accepted into Wharton. I got into the engineering school, so i was simply wondering how the system works at Penn if i want a dual degree.

thanks.

you do need to apply, and your chance of acceptance to the second degree are based on gpa.

It is really difficult to get a dual degree with Wharton and Engineering because admission is based only on GPA. Last year the requirement was a little over 3.7, which is quite difficult with a freshmen engineering schedule, but good luck.
