Dual Enrollment and AP?

I'm a junior taking DE classes along with my high school ones at a local community college. My school is a bit different in that the high school is integrated with the CC; I take both college and high school classes on the same campus. As such, my school doesn't offer AP courses.

I have one concern, though -- my DE classes don't seem as rigorous as their AP counterparts. (I'm currently in Calc II/III, Psychology, Organic Chemistry, Biology and Physics). At this point, I'm thinking about taking AP classes online for senior year; either that, or study for the corresponding AP exams and then take them in May. Is this a logical plan? I'm worried that my course load's rigor, or lack thereof, would affect college admissions. Any input?

You’re not expected to take classes more challenging than what your high school provides.

Like @halcyonheather said, if your school doesn’t offer AP classes, college admissions officers aren’t anticipating AP courses on your transcript.

Ah, I see. That makes sense. Thanks to the both of you for your responses!

sorry if this is creepy but I saw your UNR admission and I’m 99% sure I know which community college / high school you’re talking about hahah I know a couple people going there :)
