I am taking Calc AB at my school this year, and it's Dual Enrollment (ECE) with University of Connecticut. Should I Include it as credits taken for my Penn State Application?

I'm pretty sure I should, I'm just making sure.

Bump (10 char)

Sounds like it would, although I don’t think you would get the credits for it unless you get a decent score (4 or 5 I think) on the AP exam. Call admissions if your not sure…

Did you go to the college to take the class, or did an instructor come to you (or worse, a regular school teacher taught the “college approved” course)?

If you went to the college, please do call it college and include it on your PSU app as college work. They’ll see on your hs transcript that you are being given hs credit for it as well.

My kids will have 40+ credits from 2 local u’s when they graduate from hs, all thankfully paid for by their high school. Dual enrollment is a wonderful thing.

I have to take exception to fencersmother’s “or worse . . .” comment. My husband is a tenured prof in the College of Engineering and believes our high school does a better job teaching calc than Penn State does. They are now teaching a follow-up course to AP Calc (Vector Calc?) and I’m sure doing a fine job with that, too. While her high school may not be of the same caliber as others, this sort of generalizing comment is not particularly helpful.
