Does anyone know what GT’s policy is on accepting dual enrollment credit from out of state (Florida)? Thanks and congrats!
If it’s one of the ones they list on oscar, you can check what credit you’ll get here: https://oscar.gatech.edu/pls/bprod/wwtraneq.P_TranEq_Ltr
Thank you very much. This chart was extremely helpful.
Also note that some classes taken ONLINE will not be accepted even if their in class counterparts are.
Thanks. All of his courses were in the classroom. That will shave a full year off of GaTech or perhaps allow him to do a somewhat lighter load of 12 credits a semester
If the course does not appear, he may still be able to get credit. He will need to bring the course syllabus from the other college and present it to Tech once he is a student there.
I have noticed that GT is particular about how they teach some of their Math courses, I think it is the Calculus courses. So, they might give you “elective” credit instead of counting it exactly for the course you took, so that you have to retake it from GT. If you discover that is the case for your child, you can discuss details directly with GT.
