Hey guys so I have a question regarding Dual Enrollment credit and its transferrable units to colleges.
I’m going to be attending UCSD and unfortunately, in my first semester of my senior year I got a B in my math dual enrollment course. In high school it was like… 9 units or something for the whole year but I have no idea how that transfers to the college.
I’m worried because I will be going to a graduate school and I don’t want that stupid mistake in high school to pull me back from getting a good GPA and ruin my future
is there any way to make up that B? or am I stuck with it forever… oh gosh.
also, if I take summer classes can I somehow make up my GPA?
thanks a lot !!
Graduate programs will require you to submit transcripts from every college you’ve attended, so they’ll see your dual-enrollment grades even if the classes don’t transfer.
This is what UCSD says ([source](https://warren.ucsd.edu/_files/academics/taking-courses-outside-of-uc-sandiego.pdf)):
I also made a thread about this topic a while ago.
You’re essentially stuck with this grade (no matter what you do, it will probably show up on some transcript), but there’s no reason to worry about it. This isn’t going to affect your future at all, let alone ruin it. You’re almost certainly going to get other Bs in college, and that will be fine too.
@halcyonheather thank you soooooo much for the clarification ! <3
