Dual Enrollment English or AP English

Hi, I took ap literature last year as a sophomore and got a b+ both semesters. My teacher was very subjective and now im enrolled In APLANG with her. SHe was supposed to retire because it is her 30th year but shes back for her last. I was thinking I could take it next year but they alternate it. SHould I take eng.through my local community college or ap with her lang? II know this is a stupid question but what do colleges prefer to see? I also am taking apush wich is supposed to be hard. Also, online course for APLANG would be great but I cannot seem to find it…

AP/IB is a more level playing field imo, but if you stay in state DE may be better it all depends on your goals.

Most kids at my daughter’s (po dunk country) DE school NO AP/IB at all go to state publics and get their UG in 2-3years depending on major. If they were to go out of state obviously much of that would not transfer.

Generally AP is better as you are more likely to get credit in college than for DE if you go to an out of state school.
Also DE is a semester course where AP is spread over a year.
DE may have a different school schedule and you have to get there if you need to be on campus.
DE may count in your college GPA so you need to do well.
BUT, if you have no other option, DE is better than not taking any honors/AP classes.
