Hey guys.
So the class of 2014 at my school is very competitive. Many of the students in the top 5% are taking Dual Enrollment classes to inflate their GPA (since DE classes add an easy 6.0). I was wondering: do college see that these students are taking 5 or 6 DE classes just to boost their GPA up and not to expand their knowledge and interests? It's a little bit unfair and I am indecisive as to whether or not I should join this hype. I am currently in the top 5%, but not in the top 10 people (my class has around 1000 students). I have straights A's so far and I am taking 7 AP classes next year. Any advice from you guys would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, and if I do decide to take a DE class, it would probably just be health to get the credit out of the way.
