I might have posted this already but I want like new replies so can anyone help me? Right now I am in Math Analysis which prepares us for AP Calc BC next year. It's kind of like Precalc/Calc. I have the option of taking Calculus at a community college this year. Then next year I wouldn't have to take a math class at school. My school doesn't go beyond Calc BC. Also I could take like 2 upper level math class during the summer if I do this. In College I am probably going to minor in math. I am 90% positive of doing this.

Is this a good idea or not?

The only reason I don't want to do it is because I can just take the class in college and won't have to pay like $400 per class now.
(PS Do you have to pay more if you take more classes in UVA? Like if you take more than 15 credits?

)

Also spring sports are coming up although I could work my schedule to include both. Can anyone help?

I am going to apply to UVA and it's my like number 1 school right now. How is the math department at UVa and is anyone minoring in math? Can anyone help?
