Dual Honors Medicine

Hello,
I am just starting 12th grade and am interested in a dual honors medicine program, especially U Miami, my brother just graduated from there in the spring for his bachelor's. I have been looking at other people's resumes who are applying to these things and they are pretty impressive compared to mine. I am not sure how hard it is to get accepted into the programs, so I am just looking for an honest opinion.

This is a little bit about me:
-I have been riding as a volunteer EMT in NJ for just a little over a year now. I have had a lot of experience and feel confident in my abilities.
-My super score SAT is a 2050, 730 Math, 670 CR, 650 writing
-I got a 650 on math 1 subject sat, have yet to take Physics subject
-My weighted gpa is a 3.9, not sure what my unweighted is
-My extracurricular activities are MUN and Sportsman Service League(basically a volunteer service group for athletes
-I play football and lacrosse
-I also play the Piano, Drum set, and Guitar
- I am also a licensed bartender and work at my country club as a bartender for my job
-My dad is an anesthesiologist who graduated from Columbia
-I've done charity work with my church's you group, like helping out with children summer camps in New Orleans
-Also for math and science, I took Bio and Chem freshmen and sophomore year. Physics honors and ap physics junior and senior year. Algebra 2 honors freshmen year, Geometry Honors sophomore year, pre calc cp and AP stas junior year, AP calc senior year

That's basically my resume. It's pretty meager to some other kids' ridiculous applications. While my grades are decent, it's pretty much because I didn't really try in high school, I mainly focused on girls and going out. If I could go back to freshmen year, like I'm sure everyone would, I would definitely try much harder haha. I know I have the aptitude to do well in these medical courses though, I passed my EMT course (that had an 80% fail rate) near the top of my class without trying that much.

All that being said, I just want to hear honest opinions about how you guys think my odds are getting into these 7 year medical courses, particularly U Miami. If you don't think I have a shot, please let me know

Thanks for all the help!

To even be considered, you need a M+CR of 1400, which is exactly your score. I suspect that most admits far exceed that score unless you have a great backstory, which basically means you better be a URM with a really hardluck background. UW GPA needs to be 3.75, which may trip you up if your weighted is only 3.9.

Long story short, you probably have what it takes to get into med school the old fashioned way - getting a four-year degree and taking the MCAT. Direct admit programs often aren’t all that great, are more competitive than getting in Ivies, and if you can get in one, you can easily get in the regular way. I’d concentrate more on finding a great school to get a great GPA in the pre-med courses and prep you for the MCAT.
