Dual Major

Is dual majoring much more time consuming than just a Major/minor. Or is it simply that you have less electives?

Depends on what your are double majoring in. You'll have an easier time if the two majors require some of the same classes.

What do you think of a science and language double major? Good idea or just crazy?

Probably not a good idea if you want to get done in 4 years, or with your sanity.

How about Political Science/Economics major. They seem relatively close to me.

I agree with #2. In my case (math and history) they both are overseen by the arts & sciences department, and thus I can cross-count some of the classes.

Poli Sci and Econ can be easy, IF your college/uni has a lot of overlap in the two majors. also, they tend to complement each other really well...just make sure its feasible before you get your heart set on it.
