Dude am I dying?

I just had some chocolates and I'm getting burning sensations in the throat. I don't know if it's the chocolates but I had an upbeat heart rate for like 8 seconds or so and tingling in the left fingers. I googled the symptoms and they were synonymous with heart attack... what is going on?! Can rich chocolate cause heartburn? Why were my hands tingling?

r u allergic to chocolate?

No not at all

are you kidding . What are you doing on CC. Go to an emergancy room. It might be serious.

Well I don't want to scare people if I am just overreacting, but I don't know what is going on. I am only 19 and it seems like a heart attack would be quite unlikely?

I would go to the doctor. Even if it`s just an overreaction.

hahahahah you're gonna die and you deserve it...you're a straight up tool!!!

ahahah sucks 4 you!!!!

If the feelings are getting worse, go ahead and call an ambulance...

It wouldn't be an overreaction. Some people call 911/Ambulance for things so trivial you'd hurt your brain thinking about why they called. In this case, if it's not getting better, go ahead and call.

are u still alive?

Yea I think so :P

it was probably palpitations, which are common in young people and rarely serious. That's much more likely than heart attack in a 19 year old. Some common triggers are alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, drugs (esp cocaine, amphetamines, otc cold meds w/ pseudephedrine), and stress. Maybe it was brought on by sensitivity to something in the chocolate, or maybe it's just a coincidence that it started w/ the chocolate.

I am certainly no druggie though, lol

How about now? Are you alive now?

mmmmhmmmmmmmmmm

No I am not alive now :( Sry

Whoa, the afterlife has internet?! Is it cable or what? Did you find out if you got accepted to Heaven? I hear that admissions is tough this year. I hope you did, because from what I've read, there's no option to wait a year and apply again or to apply to other places. Most people go to Hell, because they think that the lack of admission requirements makes it more appealing.

^^^^^calm down.

I just laughed. I'm very sorry. Max, breathe!

It seriously just sounded like those chocolates were damn good. Well, at least to me.

I guess you could say that... the chocolates were to die for!
