my school for some reason; everyone frigging pierces wutever body part u can see and touch. I was completely freaked out today when this guy had this 1.0cm wide circular hole in his ears. he competely hole punched his ears and put on this weird looking earings on them.

seriously... do all HS in US pierce their ears nose and bellies? girls acceptable but guys.... in Asia even piercing yer left ear is pretty hardcore. these guys frigging have 5 holes.

every school has "goths and gays". every school has people with piercings. those two however, don't always go together. usually not EVERYONE pierces EVERYTHING though. it might just be the part of the US you live in. people with holes in them are still people.

Do these people bother you? Why? Its not like they are hurting anyone, stealing things....I don't understand how people can get worked up over someone else's piercings, tattoos, clothes, hair, whatever as long as no one is hurt. Our city, you would not believe...

I only know a few people who are outright gay, and there aren't real goths, just people who think by dressing like goths they're gothic. Being gothic means more than just wearing black. So not really. Not that those kinds of people annoy me or anything

I don't understand how the mention of gay people in your title has anything to do with what you wrote about piercings.

We have quite a few openly gay guys in my grade, some of whom are my best friends. Some people pierce themselves multiple times, but it doesn't bother me. I've seen the ear thing you are talking about, and it does make me a little squeamish, but it's not like anyone is in my face forcing me to look at it.

my school is composed of everything. goths, dumb jocks, gays, preppies, punks, gansta-looking-Mexicans, liberals, conservatives, independents, EVERYTHING. Isn't that great to live in one diversed place?

exactly. even though i hated high school, now i miss how there was a variety of people there. here everyone is bascially the same and looks down on goths, punks, gays or any other label they consider is not of the norm. it sickens me.

Hey, I'm a gangsta-mexican. My mexican Homies will come to your door any second now, either vote for pedro. Pedro Guarantees you his protection.

OH NO! I GOTTA CAST MY VOTE FOR PEDRO RIGHT NOW!
PEDRO 4 PRESIDENT!!!

Well, not till next 4 years though... And yes, it sounded really sarcastingly, but I really do respect diversity. But I wish more people in my school respects diversity too...

Prep schools with dress codes usually send the goths/queer-dressers into hiding. The gays...nowadays they're everywhere...even in prep schools. Now with all this sembracing of "universal acceptance," blablabla, theyre left alone, or even encouraged, in "traditional" schools. My school strictly bans PDA's (public displays of affection). Guess who the exception couple is? The two lesbians! I guess they figure there might be a scandal about them repressing "gay rights" if they do something about it.

It's pathetic how many people get scared into pandering for the lib platform.

Yes, that got into a bit of an anti-lib rant at the end, and most of CC is filled with libs, but lets NOT turn this into a political debate, PLEASE?!

No, the individual who played Napoleone Dyanmite did not die. It was reported by 'someone' that he died in a car accident. However, this is just a rumor.

While I agree with everyone else that you can't automatically associate unusual or excessive piercings/tatoos with "goths and gays", I do have to say that a 1-cm wide hole in your ear is a bit disturbing, not to mention most likely quite painful. I'd be pretty revolted if I saw something like that, but heck, I guess it's their choice. shrug
