LOL, this is quite funny. You score right in the range that I scored (if add in the writing part.) Dont give up hope on BC, with a 1810 you still got a shot. You can check my stats at the thread about who got accepted, waitlisted, and rejected. I'm the lowest scorer among those who were accepted. Improve your score is a great idea, but also take alot of SAT II. They will some what balance out the mediocre SAT 1 score (if you do well on it). You might want to tell us your GPA as well, a high GPA might be the ticket in.
I must also advocate for more EC, you said you do alot of them, but alwayy improve for more. Just from my personal experience, they are my ticket into BC (not my grade at all.) Good luck

Dont Worry About It. Study Really Hard Over The Summer And Youll Be Fine. Junior Year My Best Sats Were 1190, Senior Year They Were 1390 And In The 93 Percentile!

My only advice is that in my experience SAT prep (At Kaplans at least) is not worth it...my parents dished out some exorbitant price and it really did nothing at all...first try i got a 1320...then over summer between junior and senio i studied on my own in one of those huge SAT books and just banged out tests...i timed them and everything and i ended up with a 1460, so deffinetly just log alot of hours on sat practice on your own and you'll be set

I agree with shawnneves... don't waste your time in prep classes. Just take every practice test available to you. I self studied my way from 1270 on the PSAT to 1480 on the SAT in one year. All I did was lots of practice tests...

Thanks, I've been practicing, but my math score has only been improving. CR is the same and I can't get out of the 580-600 mark[my ultimate goal is like a 630, which isn't a lot considering its like a 40 point increase], I think it's possible for my writing to go to at least a 650[last test I took I got a 640] and my math is in the lo 700's, ultimatly getting me 1980, which is the range I want. Oh and also, I have a question about the SAT, and I was just thinking about it the other day, Do you all think that the standard for the SAT will drop, considering that only a couple hundred did perfect, compared to the couple thousand that had perfect scores on the old one? Just something to ask...
