<p>I wasn’t a duke fan for a long time, but I love it now! I’m doing RD as well, and I submitted my main common app around the 1 December. I’m waiting on the supplement until after I’m done with finals… I’m just worried about getting an interview.</p>
<p>Do y’all know the procedure for getting a Duke interview? I know that you can’t request one, but how many applicants get an alumni interview? and when do I have to submit the supplement in order to get considered for an interview?</p>
<p>From what I understand interviews are first come first serve and I think that they needed everything by the 10th in order to get an interview.</p>

<p>i actually cant decide between duke and northwestern as my next choice. but did anyone choose to write the essay for arts and sciences? if so, what did u write about?</p>
<p>I wrote it! I wrote about what specifically interests me in the college and why I want to go there. They really stressed that it was optional but it never hurts to tell them more about yourself.</p>

<p>That was kind of like mine but I had specifics in there about looking forward to bball games and camping out in a tent to get tickets. It had a little humor but it was kind of cliche as well.</p>

<p>Hi! Well my school is a football school but I am transitioning. I like watching basketball but this is the first year that i have started following it. I kind of like the idea of Duke football being more laid back than major football schools, I think I would enjoy that.
But k-ville would be really fun! and if by some miracle I got tickets then I would be a huge bball fan!</p>

<p>Well, I don’t know if the Princeton Review would be specific enough for what you are looking for. Your best bet is probably asking people who attend there.</p>
<p>From what I can remember from TIP, the West Campus Dorms are ok, but East Campus dorms lack air conditioner.</p>
<p>What do people think about Durham as a city? I don’t know much about it.</p>
